What is hypochlorous acid?
Made by your own body
White blood cells produce HOCl to fight infection. It is one of nature’s most effective germ fighters.
Trusted in healthcare
HOCl is used in wound care, eye care and medical settings because it is effective and gentle.
No harsh fumes or residue
It breaks down into salt and water, leaving nothing behind on surfaces or in the air.
Validated in-house

Disinfection FAQs
Is HOCl safe on my surfaces?
HOCl is gentle on most household and commercial surfaces. We review delicate finishes during your consultation. We spot-test delicate finishes such as natural stone and unsealed wood first.
Do I need to leave during treatment?
No. HOCl has no harsh fumes, so you, your children and pets can stay home during treatment.
Is disinfection the same as cleaning?
No. Cleaning removes dirt; disinfection reduces germs. For best results, surfaces are cleaned first, then disinfected, which is how every Radiant Home visit works.
